Revette Lake Trail #9 Spring-Summer-Fall Easy

Revette Lake sits in a rugged section of the Idaho Montana Divide above Murray, Id. and Thompson Falls, Mt. From CDA head east on I-90 to the Kingston Exit. Turn left (north) over the freeway, and continue up the CDA River to Pritchard. At Pritchard turn right (East) and follow the road to the top of Thompson Pass. On your right as you summit the road, you will notice a parking area off to the right.
Also notice a road heading west for 1.2 miles to the trailhead for Revette Lake. The hike to Revette Lake is an easy 1.5 miles. Along the way is a waterfall to enjoy and to cool off in. Once at the lake, enjoy the scenery and lunch. If you have a need for more up, Granite Peak looms above you. If you decide to climb Granite Peak, follow the right (north) shore line almost to the back of the lake to some serious scree slopes for the ascent. Once on top the views are great. Steven's Peak lies to the south, while the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness lies to the north. A cool feature about the top is the large slabs of rock that we put in place as back rest and seats so you can relax. The cairn on top dates back the the original survey in the late 1800's. Look for 4 heart shaped rocks I put in place facing N S E W.

Cool things to see: nice drive, waterfall, cliffs, scenic mountain summit and nice trail.
