CDA to Rose Lake to Harrison to CDA Medium in Length
If you like back woods country lake drives, this loop is for you. From CDA head east on I-90 over the 4th of July Pass to Rose Lake and turn right (south) on State Road #3. There are a whole chain of lakes, such as Killarney, Swan, Medicine, Cave, Black and Anderson Lakes, that all contain some water fowl to view. If you have a canoe or kayak, Killarney Lake has an island with camping on top. Once in Harrison, take a walk south on the Trail of the Coeurd'Alene's along the lake. From Harrison, head across the bridge and up 97 to CDA along the lake shore.
